Welcome to the Inside of my Brain

This past week has been a strange one.  Lots of mainly mundane transitions, but transitions nonetheless.  I’ve also started educating myself on this blogging artform and while it’s always invigorating to learn new things, I find my thoughts spinning.  And to top it all off, I’m waiting anxiously for news from my daughter about a big job interview.  At this point I’m also pretty tired.  TGIF!!!

I’d like to unpack some of these things here, but honestly, I’d rather let it all lie for a while.  In the meantime, I’m looking forward to a quiet weekend filled with mostly household chores and a nice dinner out and movie with my favorite person.  I guess what I’m trying to say is that, creatively, my tap is dry.  I don’t have much left to put on the page, but I didn’t want to break my stride and not post.  So, in the spirit of some of the things I’ve learned about blogging, I’ll share some photos to make things a bit more interesting.

How about you?  How has your week been?  Let me know how you get through these times that seem to drain all the creativity out of you.

One final note: I live in Nashville, so NFL Draft.
