Exercise

Today was a Pilates workout. I started Pilates lessons two years ago not long after I moved to Nashville. It’s something I always wanted to do but never had time. I love it! Pilates really changed the way my body looks and feels. I feel stronger and more flexible and I think I won’t be as prone to injury as I age. It’s so invigorating to really challenge myself physically. I even got my husband, John, hooked on it. I really wish I could become an instructor but it’s a very rigorous and challenging course that is not taught in Nashville. The thing I love most is the way the instructor can help tailor a workout for how my body feels on any given day. She also helps me feel better when I have sore or tight muscles or injuries. I guess for now, I’ll just enjoy the workouts.

So, here’s my question today. Have you undertaken a physical challenge in your life? Maybe you’ve recovered from an injury or illness. Maybe you’ve decided to take control of your health and really challenge yourself. Maybe you’ve taken up a sport or dance. I’d love to hear your stories about physical exercise. It’s never too late to grab Your 10 Minutes! Just do it!!!!!
